In search of a virgin!

But the unique thing about his request is that he wants a virgin (in her late twenties or early thirties) with big hips. And also into medical sciences. He claims to be based in the U.S. He explained that he has been on this ‘search’ for years and has spent a lot of money in the process too. He also went into details about the ‘good life’ that the ‘lucky’ lady stands to enjoy from the setting…thanks to his professional establishment over there. On his reasons for insisting on marrying a virgin-he claimed that trust issues (e.g ‘Okafor’s law’) won’t arise. And that it shows a lady…who is disciplined enough to keep her ‘values’. Well, one thing that I have come to make peace with in life is that people have a right to their choices…especially when it comes to matters of the heart. However, I have also come to realise that nothing hampers progress in life like RIGIDITY. I can’t imagine the number of ‘good girls’ that have shown up and moved on…whilst someone is bent on marrying only a virgin with big hips. I have an inkling that this search may drag on for much longer. As if ‘virginity’ alone confers one with all the virtues needed for a marriage. Everything does not boil down to what you want and what you can offer. The person you want has to want you as well. And ‘reaping where you didn’t sow’ is when you are not a virgin but covet one. The best relationships are when people embrace each other’s ‘imperfections’…focusing on the present while looking only to the future. I would be more comfortable to settle in relationship with a man that comes for me AS I AM…warts and all. And not because I am Oby-that has what he obsesses about. Truth remains that a good man makes every lady wish he was her first. I uphold the virtue of chastity very much but not being a virgin doesn’t reduce anybody (in my opinion), either.
