Rapper Vector Knocks Down Olamide, Ice Prince, Ycee

Rap game from inception has been a genre of music used by young and intelligent black American youths who used hip hop to let out their anger and frustrations against racism and deprivation . It has always been poetic and rhythmic, characteristics that made it gain popularity in other country including Nigeria.

Rap music or Hip Hop in Nigeria has gone through a lot of phases but the recent trends in Hip Hop have become worrisome as acts now rely on the beats from producers and they just lay lyrics one cannot comprehend.

A survey carry out in Lagos recently about rapper that deliver under stable lyrics and the result show Vector is in the lead with over 33% of the vote. While Olamide came second with 29% of the votes. Ycee held down the third spot with 25% of the vote. While Ice Prince came a distance fourth with 13% of the 482 vote cast.
