Sneaky change to 'Game of Thrones' credits may reveal White Walkers' master plan

What's This?

Everyone human on Game of Thrones is prey to the looming army of White Walkers heading down from north of the wall, but a new fan theory suggests the army of the dead may strike sooner than we thought.

As the Night's Watch and wildlings prepare to greet the Night's King at the icy border between the realms of the living and dead, they aren't entirely prepared.

In the Season 7 premiere, episode MVP the Hound looked into the flames and had a vision. He saw "where the wall meets the sea," and said, "The dead are marching past."

Um, what? Just marching past the wall like it ain't no thing? The wall covers the entire Westerosi northern border — from coast to coast. One does not simply walk into Westeros.

But the Season 7 credits may explain this. Sharp fans noticed that winter has changed the North; The seas on either side of it have frozen over.

Check out this close comparison from Reddit:

Great news, Westeros! The sea is ice and the Night's King and his army are just going to skate on over and destroy you all. It's going to be a mess — and we're going to watch the whole thing.
