Steve Jobs only wore black Issey Miyake turtlenecks and jeans. "both because of its daily convenience (the rationale he claimed) and its ability to convey a signature style." (from the Walter Isaacson biography).
Zuckerberg's comment about it being one less thing to think about backs up a theory I recently read about: "Decision fatigue-The more choices you make throughout the day, the harder each one becomes for your brain" –NYT nyti.ms/qsQDlV
When you think about how many decisions it must take to run a constantly evolving multi-billion dollar corporation, it's understandable not wanting to have to make one more about what to wear in the morning.

In one of the first Friday Q&As of Summer 2011 after the interns arrived, one intern asked for the mic and asked something like "Hey Zuck, me and a couple of the other new interns were wondering, do you have more than one shirt?" The whole room (including Mark Zuckerberg) cracked up, but he went on to say that he wears the same clothes every day because he's busy and it makes for one less thing to think about in the morning.

Many people including Mark say that he wears the same type of shirt everyday because he's busy.
I beg to differ. I have come to a conclusion where I can boldly say he's that teen who wanted to be someone and also had one inspiration. To be like your inspiration is one of your dreams.
This is what Mark was doing. He was replicating his inspiration's style.
Steve Jobs wore the same black shirt, if you have noticed.
Have a read at this excerpt from "Steve Jobs" by Walter Isaacson.
On a trip to Japan in the early 1980s, Jobs asked Sony's chairman Akio Morita why everyone in the company's factories wore uniforms. He told Jobs that after the war, no one had any clothes, and companies like Sony had to give their workers something to wear each day. Over the years, the uniforms developed their own signatures styles, especially at companies such as Sony, and it became a way of bonding workers to the company. "I decided that I wanted that type of bonding for Apple," Jobs recalled.
Sony, with its appreciation for style, had gotten the famous designer Issey Miyake to create its uniform. It was a jacket made of rip-stop nylon with sleeves that could unzip to make it a vest. So Jobs called Issey Miyake and asked him to design a vest for Apple, Jobs recalled, "I came back with some samples and told everyone it would great if we would all wear these vests. Oh man, did I get booed off the stage. Everybody hated the idea."
In the process, however, he became friends with Miyake and would visit him regularly. He also came to like the idea of having a uniform for himself, both because of its daily convenience (the rationale he claimed) and its ability to convey a signature style. "So I asked Issey to make me some of his black turtlenecks that I liked, and he made me like a hundred of them." Jobs noticed my surprise when he told this story, so he showed them stacked up in the closet. "That's what I wear," he said. "I have enough to last for the rest of my life."
Hence the reason is blatant here. It has nothing to do with being busy; but everything to do with being a brand.

In case someone is wondering, this is the T-shirtand his closet
There are 2 reasons.
Mark Zuckerberg like Albert Einstein does not want to spend valuable time choosing clothes.
Mark Zuckerberg really admires Steve Jobs, who was also famous for his only 1 outfit.
If you listen to Mark presentations, he even uses “One last thing” at the end of them.
All that being said, you can actually see him wearing different clothes from time to time:
You can even see Mark in suit:
And most of all he just doesn’t give a shit about what he wears. Making Facebook the biggest tech company is the only important thing.
I’m not sure about “connecting the world”, but he sure wants everyone to use Facebook all the time and this is more important than what to wear.

I guess below conversation make totally sense on wearing the same type of clothes.
Ronnie: Do you ever change your clothes?
Seth Brundle: What?
Seth Brundle: Your clothes. You're always wearing the same clothes.
Seth Brundle: No, these are clean. I change my clothes every day.
Ronnie: [Veronica looks into his closet and finds five sets of the same suits, ties, shoes and pants] Five sets of exactly the same clothes?
Seth Brundle: Learned it from Einstein. This way I don't have to expand my thought on what I have to wear next, I just grab the next set on the rack.
Though, don't know about the Einstein remark.

In the past, Zuckerberg explained why he chooses to wear the same hoodie and tee every day. "I really want to clear my life to make it so that I have to make as few decisions as possible about anything except how to best serve this community … I’m in this really lucky position, where I get to wake up every day and help serve more than a billion people. And I feel like I’m not doing my job if I spend any of my energy on things that are silly or frivolous about my life," he said back in 2014. And though we at GQ hardly think looking great is a "silly" pursuit, we do know the man has bigger things to think about than matching his tie and pocket square.
