FC Barcelona legend Ronaldinho has revealed who he thinks the better player between Lionel Messi and Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is.
The Brazilian, who is yet to officially retire from football, is widely considered to be one of the best players to have donned a Barca shirt.
Ronaldinho put smiles on the faces of fans during his five years at the Camp Nou, where he spent arguably the prime of his career.
The 2002 FIFA World Cup winner was recently asked who he thinks the greatest footballer in the world between his former teammate Messi and Los Blancos talisman Ronaldo is, and he picked the Argentine on account of their friendship.
"The two are both great," he said during an interview in Costa Rica, according to Marca.
"But I have to choose Messi because he is my friend."
Messi made his debut for Barca the season after Ronaldinho's arrival at the club in 2003, and the Brazilian was said to be one of the Argentine's mentors at the club.
