Man furious after he learnt the person he gave N250,000 to feed paid N25,000 as tithe

It appears that the issue of tithing in churches will not come to an end soon. People have different reasons why they pay tithe and how important it is to their devotion to Christianity.

A young man has taken to social media to reveal how his friend helped another friend with the sum of N250,000 to assist him pay his child’s school fees but the friend ended up using 10 percent of the money to pay tithe in the church he attends.

This act has made his friend furious and promise never to assist anyone again. The post was shared by Oloye Akin Alabi (@akinalabi) on Twitter.

The post reads: “Someone came to a friend needing help. He said he can’t feed and can’t pay his kid’s school fees. My friend gave him N250,000. My friend later learnt that the guy took N25,000 to church as tithe. My friend is furious, he says he will never help him again.”
