Messi is back in training with Team

Lionel Messi returned to training with hisBarcelona team-mates after international duty with Argentina where he missed games against Italy and Spain through injury.

Barca manager Ernesto Valverde on Thursday was able to count on all the players available from the first team and Leo Messi also worked with the group for part of the session.

It was the third session of the week with the game against Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán on the horizon.

A club statement revealed that Messi was able to work out with his teammates and coach Ernesto Valverde said on Wednesday that he does not have an "important" injury and that he was not concerned.

"FC Barcelona trained this Thursday with all the players available from the first team. On Wednesday, Andre Gomes and Cillessen were the first internationals to return, and on Thursday, the other players who had represented their countries joined them.

"The session took place on the Tito Vilanova pitch, with Leo Messi working with the group for part of the session and Barça B’s Alena making up the numbers."
